Floor Stripping, Pavers Tile Cleaning and Sealant Application San Francisco, Bay Area
This building at the peak of Russian Hill in San Francisco had dirty old tile floors in its lobby. The tile was over 100 years old and had years of sealants, waxes, dirt and grime that had build up over that time. It was in dire need of a thorough tile cleaning. Stone Improvement was hired to do a floor stripping, pavers tile cleaning and sealant re-application. First we masked the areas and then laid down a soy based floor stripper to remove the previous sealants. We then scrubbed down the floor with our floor machines and stripper pads. We then used our extractor machine for the pavers tile cleaning. This removed any left over dirt, waxes or stripper residue. After letting the areas dry, we then applied our urethane hybrid topical coating to the tile and grout. Three coats were applied for added protection. This urethane coating is a high foot traffic sealant that is UV stable and non-yellowing. Stone Improvement was able to restore the original tile in the building, making it look practically new!
