Concrete Honing and Coating Application San Francisco, Bay Area
This was a three story house in San francisco that had white concrete floors throughout the house. The floors were getting extremely dirty so the owners wanted to get the floors as clean as possible and coated to help keep the floors looking good. They had all of their furniture moved out of the house and Stone Improvement was called in to do a light concrete honing and coating application. We used a combination of our floor machine and extractor machine to do the honing which cleaned the floor and gave it just enough tooth to have our coating bond to the concrete. Once the concrete was honed and cleaned, we let the floors completely dry for a few days before coming back to apply the coating on the concrete. We applied three layers of a urethane acrylic hybrid coating on the concrete floors. The coating gave the floors a satin sheen which made their concrete floors look great!
