Elevator Floor Travertine Cleaning San Francisco, Bay Area
This SOMA District highrise building is situated next to the San Francisco Bay Bridge. The building’s facilities manager was having problems with the travertine tile in their elevators. The travertine fills had fallen out over the years and dirt was starting to build up in the holes, make the tile look drab and dirty. Stone Improvement was hired for their elevator floor travertine cleaning service. With our portable hard surface extractor machine we were able to get to different floors for the service on the elevators. We first scrubbed down the tile and grout with our grout brushes and pH neutral tile cleaner, and then went over the areas with our hard surface extractor machine. The extractor machine thoroughly rinses the tile and grout, removing any built up dirt trapped in the pores of the stone. After the travertine cleaning process, we dried the areas using towels and floor dryers. The elevators looked great after the travertine cleaning, making the overall look of the lobby better as well.
