In the newly gentrified 3rd street area of San Francisco is where this huge photography studio has been functioning for 15 years. This warehouse use to be a ship building facility and has the original floors to prove it. Stone Improvement was hired to do the concrete refinishing on their lobby floor. First step was to strip off all of the previous sealants that were on the floor before the concrete refinishing process. We then honed the floor down to expose the aggregate and remove deep scratches and pitting from years of industrial use. The concrete refinishing also included filling in many holes that were in the floor. After letting the floors completely dry, we then applied three coats of our urethane hybrid topical coating to protect the floors for many years to come. This highly durable coating is UV stable and comes in a satin finish.
