Entry Slate Cleaning and Sealing San Francisco, Bay Area
This home in the Diamond Heights District of San Francisco has some of the greatest views in town. Unfortunately the entry tile wasn’t so great to look at. Stone improvement was hired for this slate cleaning and sealing service. The entry slate tile had a sealant already on it which was peeling up and damaged. The first step in the slate cleaning service was to scrub the floor with our floor machine and nonabrasive scrubber pads. This removed any damaged sealant and made the floor ready for sealant reapplication. The slate cleaning was then completed by going over the areas with our hard surface extractor. After the slate cleaning was completed, we then dried the areas thoroughly and prepared the surface for sealant reapplication. Our urethane hybrid topical sealant was used for this process. We applied two coats of this durable, semi-gloss coating to the slate tile and grout. Now the entry tile will be protected for many years to come.
