Important notice to our customers
Stone Improvement does NOT implement chemical polishing practices known as “crystallization” which can prevent the stone from breathing. Stone Improvement uses only truly natural and proven methods recognized by the MIA (Marble Institute of America) that are designed to reproduce a finished look as close to the original factory finish as possible. Our preferred method insures you will have a more natural looking stone and will require less professional maintenance if cared for properly. We always leave our customers with a free ph neutral cleaner concentrate to ensure proper maintenance.

History
Stone Improvement was founded in 2008 by John and Nick in San Francisco, California. They trained and became certified in stone and tile restoration in Arizona with one of the leading innovators in the field. John became full owner of Stone Improvement in 2015. John has a fine arts degree in drawing and painting from Long Beach State University. He continues to paint in his spare time and participates in various art shows in the Bay Area. John applies this attention to detail to his stone restoration projects.
